The strategic plan of the Language Center for the academic year 2019/2020

The Language Center at Mutah University, which was established in 2008, is considered to be a specialized and accredited center. The center's mission focus on encouraging and supporting the learning of modern languages to fulfill the students' academic and professional requirements. In order to achieve this goal, the center provides school experience to students in the field of teaching Arabic and English so that they can successfully engage in various academic and professional fields, by offering regular programs at several stimulating educational levels.

The center have an efficient, trained and committed staff who seeks to achieve these goals with seriousness, enthusiasm and credibility as they work as a collaborative team to discover and accomplish academic needs and serve the students and help them succeed. The center is responsible for maintaining its reputation for providing high quality educational programs in addition to nurturing and guiding students.

The goals of the center are as follows:

-. Preparing the university proficiency exam for the Arabic and English language and computer skills for new students

-. Teaching English at three levels: Elementary (English 99), Preparatory (English 101), and advanced (English 102) for university students

-. Teaching Standard Arabic at two levels: Elementary (Arabic 99) and Preparatory (Arabic 101) for all university students.

. Providing Arabic language materials for non-native speakers.

. Supervising some national and international English language exams such as the national exam, (TOEFL) and (IELTS) for postgraduate students in master's and doctoral programs.
