This department is concerned with teaching Arabic (level 99 and level 101) to all university students. It is also concerned with supervising and teaching Arabic language subjects offered in the military wing of Mutah University and Princess Muna College of Nursing. It is also entrusted with the task of supervising the university proficiency exam for new students. And includes faculty members with master's and PhD degrees.
