welcome to Language Center website at Mutah University , this center was established to be a means of guidance, assistance and communication with all university students and beneficiaries regarding the study materials provided by the center, as well as other programs, such as the proficiency exam and the qualifying program for the national exam, and clarifying its procedures and regulations. The Language Center looks to achieve a real partnership with the rest of the concerned parties inside and outside the university, in order to make the university’s role in developing education in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan successful.

The Language Center works on teaching the university’s linguistic requirements - Arabic and English - and receives approximately four thousand students from various specialities each semester to study the university’s linguistic requirements and acquire language skills in both English and Arabic, in addition to offering special courses for new foreign students that qualify them to learn and acquire Arabic language. Through a special program that deals with several aspects, including: learning comprehension skills, speaking, writing, reading, and listening. Therefore, the Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers section was established, thereby contribute to providing the university with qualified students to learn and integrate with the rest of the specializations at the university, especially the Arabic language, Islamic law and others. The Language Center also provides computerized examination services in the laboratories designated for it, in cooperation with the Computer Center and qualified laboratory supervisors.

The center is works to achieve its mission, which is to provide a distinguished educational service, through members of staff who have not only the scientific and academic competencies that enable them to perform their tasks properly but also the needed life experiences, within international and modern standards.
